From curious first-timers to players with decades of experience, 22-year-olds to 82-year-olds, solo visitors to friend groups—you belong at our tables. There's no secret handshake, no "you should already know this" attitude. Just warm welcomes, patient guidance, and the understanding that we all started somewhere.
Connection Is Our Game Yes, we're here for mahjong—but we're really here for each other. Every game is a chance to meet someone new, share stories between rounds, and build friendships that extend beyond the tiles. We teach the authentic American game with respect for its traditions while making sure it feels accessible and relevant today. Removing Barriers Mahjong shouldn't feel exclusive or intimidating, but too often it does. We've made it our mission to remove every barrier we can think of: confusing rules explained clearly, welcoming spaces for newcomers, flexible drop-in options, transparent pricing, and a community culture that celebrates questions rather than judging them. Keeping It Fun We take mahjong seriously enough to play it well and teach it right—but never so seriously that we forget to enjoy ourselves.
